New tubes in my amp

I just got my amp back from a local guitar shop. I (they) re-tubed it with the Eurotubes Kit for the DSL 401
I must say that there is a difference but is not that noticeable at low volume. Unfortunately I have to keep a "lease safe gain".

Quote: "They have a deep, tight low end, the mids are very harmonically complex and highs are sweet and not brittle. We have had great feedback from others players with these tubes. So I would recommend using a matched quad of the JJ EL84's and four of the JJ ECC83S preamp tubes. I would use a graded and balanced ECC83S in the phase splitter hole which is the preamp tube that's closest to the power tubes. This will eliminate any dead spots due to phase cancellation.

The high gain ECC83S's have about 10% more gain than standards which adds a bit of bite and a sharper dynamic but does not hurt the clean tone. The other attribute that these tubes have is a faster filament rise time which is great for an EVH, Petrucci or Satriani type style and is also good for fast palm mute style" -End Quote

Now I must say that the clean tone is much nicer than before.
